Tarakan island lays off the North East of Boneo, east of North Kalimantan. This wood is generally in high demand and sought after by enthusiasts. Sourced and supplied to me via a very reputable trader this is genuine Tarakan Agarwood. All pieces are strong. The scent can slightly vary from piece to piece with peppery star anise, marzipan, drifting exotic fruit sweetness.
Best appreciated on a Subitism heater with mica sheet or using a whitened coal with mica sheet.
