We managed to source a 50g batch of high resin Malinau (North Kalimantan/ Borneo). Smell is earthy sweet at home temperature. This wood is dark and stained with oil. The aroma is fresh, jungle spicy and savoury sweet at the end. Some beautiful Kalimantan chips.
Best appreciated on a Subitism heater with mica sheet or using a whitened coal with mica sheet
