2023 Attar ‘Hinoud’

Pictured is ‘Lucknow’ a city in India famous for producing aromatic oils and where I source the Hina for this wonderful fragrance.
I enjoy the deep, rich Indian notes of hina. It’s the base of which this Attar sits. Hina is a co distillation of 35 different spices, herbs, flowers oils, and woods. Add a heavy layer of saffron maceration and boost it with a very healthy addition of oud = a shiny, deep, mysterious and chunky attar that I’m very happy to share.

The sweet and fruity Oud works great with the spicy hina. Upon application a dominant splash of saffron then notes of chocolate, nuts and plumbs along side the deep spices of the hina. Dry down is a harmonious blend of all with a fruity oud background. I prefer to create very bass driven attars. it’s my preference but it also means that these oils will slowly improve over time as the ingredients age!
