2023 Mongolian Musk

You’ll be hard pressed to find a more thrifty musk out there! This oil will be sent unfiltered with some grains for further aging.

2 years+ maceration of Mongolian musk grains in Indian Karala sandalwood oil + fractional coconut oil. Musk will vary in aroma from region to region with Siberian being very powerful with strong, gamey animalics and Mongolian which is more delicate, creamy and somewhat chocolatey. The animalic notes take some time to shift, some like it that way but the longer a musk sits the more incredible the scent becomes.

It’s gamey nature. It’s now a soft, velvety, creamy, slightly boozy aroma. I find the aroma changes depending on the season with hot weather bringing out more leathery notes.
